The ground for the evil looking is that the person is envious of – expresses jealousy toward – the target looked at (person etc …). Yet it does not mean that it is an evil person or the person is doing so evilly.

How is this possible?

A better understanding of the term “evil eye” can be gained by implying that the gaze has remained focused on the coveted person, or animal for TOO long. This then meaning the envy or jealousy is sticking to the target.

To understand a bit more the consequences of such a … sticking with long after … lets look at another concept here called the Jinx. In popular superstition and folklore a jinx is:

1) A sort of curse placed on a person that makes them prey to large numbers of minor misfortunes and other forms of bad luck.

2) A person afflicted with a similar curse, who, while not directly subject to a series of misfortunes, seems to attract them to anyone in his general area.

The whole point therefore is that someone can feel subject to misfortune or continuous, repeated bad luck. And as he carries this with him, does not feel it is fair or justified and thus tries to handle this bad condition.

Now get this right: THAT CONDITION is the evil eye itself. You could safely say that one with the evil-eye is a Potential Troubles Source.

Here is the very concept that has very rarely been truly understood. One can become effect of that condition and be the very one to relay it around himself. This condition is not within the vast majority of us by far. And it probably really affects only 20% of the total population but these 20% CAN and DO EFFECT the other 80%.

The very important question here is: where is this phenomena originally starting from? Now here is the truth: even if all of us individuals are spiritually good and equally so, there is a little tiny bunch of us mentally VERY insane.  And thus very evil doing people. They as individuals are basically good but mentally are truly and effectively evil, destructive and psychotic. These are probably only 2 to 3% of the 20% I mentioned above. Now remember evil is mostly hidden.

And factually so far as now there has not been any workable and standard means nor technology to SPOT and IDENTIFY them accurately.  At least we want to individuate them from the rest of the society. This then is resulting in all of us affected as if by a contagion of evil not knowing where or who it emanates from. There is thus a marked part of the general population (17 to 18%) who is totally affected by them (2 to 3% evil sources) and right there is the original evil eye. It makes it first victims within these 17/18% which makes up the famous overall 20%. This is nevertheless 1 every 5 persons so it is very easy to have one per family. I mean it is easy to run into, while it is only 20% of the total population. In other words the other 80% are the very great majority of us, good social and trustable people. While them too can have weaknesses and at time become effect of evil or life duress and thus go crazy, this is only for a short moment. This is not a persisting condition, while the other 20% are continuously so affected and thus classified as evil eye sources.

So here is the true source of the existence of the evil eye and how it does so spread. And it is true that the source of it – else than the bottom 2/3 % of raving psychotics – are themselves victims but they do nevertheless spread evil around them.

The evil eye symbol is simply a means explaining this misunderstood phenomena and an effort to do something to prevent evil to gain or succeed.

The evil eye means both the actual (insane) source of evil and the transmitter (victim)  of it, not himself wholly destructive to his fellows but yet dangerous as carrying it with him/her.

Since this phenomena is coming from the person presence alone or what he projects out of himself or his personal behavior into his immediate environment, the evil is hard to measure or size. And thus it is understood to come from the person own gazing itself – which is not a matter of fact . Yet we must recognize that the eyes do communicate a lot about the emotions and tone  of the person.
